Buying the app
Easy Route is sold through the App Store and Google Play. The store takes the payment, and its own terms cover the purchase, including refunds: Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Google Play Terms of Service.
On iPhone and iPad, your use of the app is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, Apple’s standard licence for apps from the App Store. On Android, we give you a personal licence to use the app on the devices your Google account may install it on, under Google Play’s rules. Either way you may not resell, copy for others, or take apart the app.
Routes are estimates
Easy Route works out routes, drive times, distances and arrival times from map data and from the trucks, hours and visit lengths you enter. They are estimates. Roads close, traffic changes and map data has mistakes.
Check a route before you rely on it. Whoever drives it is responsible for driving safely and legally: following traffic laws, road signs and conditions, and not handling a phone while driving where the law does not allow it.
Your data
Your clients and routes are stored on your device, not with us, so keeping a copy of them is up to you. You are responsible for having the right to use the information you put into the app. The privacy policy says what leaves your phone and when.
Other services
Easy Route hands some things to services it does not run: address lookups to Apple or Google, directions to Apple Maps, Google Maps or another maps app on your Android phone, and a shared route to whichever app you pick. Those services are covered by their own terms. The map data is built from OpenStreetMap and is available under the Open Database License; see Map data.
No warranty
The app and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that they will be accurate, error-free or uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, BB Tech Systems LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from the app or this website. Our total liability for anything arising from them is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Some places do not allow these limits, and there they apply only as far as the law permits.
Changes
We may change these terms. When we do, we will post them here and change the effective date above. Using the app or the website after that means you accept the new terms.
